BACKGROUND
New housing sector builds on the strength of two brothers
Twins Alain and Sylvain Mathieu developed a shared interest in new housing construction early on. At the age of 16 Alain obtains his general contractor license. With his diploma in hand, he founds Bri-Mat, a new residential construction company. Sylvain soon follows suit with his own firm, Les constructions Croissant de Lune. Inseparable, the Mathieu brothers start up a joint venture, Les Associés du Nord, whose mandate is to manage their respective companies. They subsequently form Les Constructions Alain Mathieu and Les Constructions Sylvain Mathieu. In 2008, the brothers decide to consolidate all their companies under the same name, Le Groupe Mathieu, thus allowing them to provide their customers with a one-step service. This family business is founded on those very values practiced by the Mathieu family: honesty, respect and trust. Remarkably, Alain Mathieu is the youngest general contractor to garner the Association provinciale des constructeurs d’habitation du Québec (APCHQ) Prix Diamant, awarded for the quality of his construction work over a 25-year period. Today, thanks to their extensive experience, the Mathieu brothers offer you a vast selection of new residences, suited to many different lifestyles.
